Can I really get up to 40 miles from one charge?
The claimed maximum range is up to 40 miles (64 km) in favourable conditions, such as lower assistance levels and flatter terrain. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, weather, tyre pressure and the assistance level you use.
Is it suitable for hills and trails?
The 250W brushless motor delivers up to 60 Nm of torque, and the bike is specified for gradients of up to 20°. The 26” × 1.95” all-terrain tyres give more grip than road tyres on tracks and uneven ground.
Why does an e-bike need 7 gears?
The Shimano 7-speed drivetrain lets you pick the right gear for each gradient. Combined with the electric assistance, it gives you more control over your pedalling effort, especially on climbs.
Will it fit me?
The recommended rider height is 5’5”–6’5” (1.65–1.96 m) and the maximum load is 150 kg (330 lbs). The aluminium frame keeps the bike at about 26.5 kg.

Is the Electric Mountain Bike road-legal in the UK?
Yes. The Electric Mountain Bike is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) under UK rules: a 250W motor with assistance that cuts out at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). You can ride it on roads and cycle paths just like a normal bicycle.
Do I need a licence, insurance or registration?
No. In Great Britain you can ride an EAPC from age 14 with no driving licence, registration, road tax or insurance.
