What do I get in a Duo?
Two complete, identical Compact Folding Electric Bikes, one for each rider. Every specification on this page applies to each bike.
Who is this bike for?
The recommended rider height is 4’3”–5’6” (1.30–1.68 m), so it is ideal for teenagers aged 14+ and shorter adults who want a light, easy-to-handle folding e-bike. Both bikes are the same size.
Is it easy to fold?
Yes. It folds in 3 steps without tools, so it is easier to store at home, put in a car boot or combine with public transport. Unfolded it measures 134.2 × 54.2 × 105 cm.
Is a folding e-bike comfortable?
It uses triple shock absorption: mid-mounted suspension, a suspension saddle and a front suspension fork, to soften bumps without losing the compact design.
Is 25 miles of range enough?
A claimed range of up to 25 miles (40 km) per bike covers most commutes, errands and shorter leisure rides. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, weather, tyre pressure and the assistance level you use.
Can it handle hills?
The claimed maximum climbing angle is up to 30°, with 3 riding modes to adjust the assistance. Actual performance depends on rider weight, battery level and surface.
What accessories are included?
A phone holder and a cable lock with each bike, plus a front LED light and rear reflector.
Battery & charging
Is the battery removable?
Yes. The 48V 7.5Ah lithium-ion battery on each bike is removable, so you can take it inside and charge it at home or at work while the bike stays parked.
How long does it take to charge?
A full charge takes approximately 3–5 hours from a standard UK socket.
Riding in the UK
Are these bikes road-legal in the UK?
Yes. Each bike is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) under UK rules: a 250W motor with assistance that cuts out at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). You can ride them on roads and cycle paths just like normal bicycles.
Do I need a licence, insurance or registration?
No. In Great Britain you can ride an EAPC from age 14 with no driving licence, registration, road tax or insurance.
