Can it really reach up to 99 miles on one charge?
The claimed maximum range is up to 99 miles (160 km) in favourable conditions: a lower assistance level, flatter terrain and a moderate load. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, weather, tyre pressure and the assistance level you use.
Is 41 kg heavy for an e-bike?
Yes, it is a heavy bike. The weight comes from the motorcycle-inspired frame, large battery, wide tyres, storage compartment and rear rack. The assistance makes it far less noticeable while riding, but bear it in mind if you need to carry the bike up stairs or lift it into a car.
Is it good on steep hills?
The 250W brushless motor delivers up to 100 Nm of torque, among the highest in our range, with Shimano 7-speed gearing. The claimed maximum climbing angle is up to 45°, though real performance depends on rider weight, surface and battery level.
What are the 20” × 4.0” fat tyres for?
They give a wide contact patch for grip and stability on roads, dirt tracks, sand and snow.
What can I fit in the storage compartment?
Small everyday items such as your phone, a water bottle, the charger or a bike lock. There is also a rear rack for bigger loads (maximum load 120 kg / 265 lbs).
Will it fit me?
The recommended rider height is 5’3”–6’3” (1.60–1.90 m).

Is the battery removable?
Yes. The 48V 15.6Ah lithium-ion battery is removable, so you can take it inside and charge it at home or at work while the bike stays parked.
How long does it take to charge?
A full charge takes approximately 3–5 hours from a standard UK socket.

Is the Motorcycle-Style Electric Bike road-legal in the UK?
Yes. The Motorcycle-Style Electric Bike is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) under UK rules: a 250W motor with assistance that cuts out at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). You can ride it on roads and cycle paths just like a normal bicycle.
It looks like a motorbike. Do I need a licence or insurance?
No. Despite the motorcycle-inspired look, it is legally a pedal cycle: the motor only assists while you pedal, up to 15.5 mph. In Great Britain you can ride it from age 14 with no driving licence, registration, road tax or insurance.
