Are Ridem e-bikes road-legal in the UK?
Yes. Our e-bikes meet the rules for electrically assisted pedal cycles (EAPCs): a motor of no more than 250W, with assistance cutting out at 15.5 mph. In Great Britain you can ride one without a licence, registration, tax or insurance, as long as you are 14 or over.
How far can I go on one charge?
It depends on the model: claimed ranges go from up to 25 miles on the Compact Folding Electric Bike to up to 99 miles on the Motorcycle-Style Electric Bike. Real range depends on rider weight, terrain and assistance level. Each product page shows the details.
How long does delivery take?
UK delivery takes approximately 3–5 working days.
Does the bike arrive assembled?
It arrives about 85% pre-assembled, so only a small amount of final assembly is needed.
Can I return my e-bike?
Yes, you have 30 days to return it. See our returns policy.
What warranty do I get?
2 years on the frame and motor, 1 year on the battery. See our warranty page.
What is a Duo bundle?
A Duo listing includes two complete electric bikes of the same model, one for each rider.
