Who is the Westmoor 25 for?
It is built for everyday journeys, weekend rides and country lanes. The recommended rider height is 5’1”–6’6” (1.55–1.98 m) and the maximum load is 159 kg (350 lbs), so it suits a wide range of riders.
Is it suitable for hills?
Yes. You get five pedal-assist levels plus a Sport mode, so you can turn the assistance up on climbs and back down on the flat to save battery.
Is it comfortable on rough roads?
A front suspension fork takes the edge off bumps and potholes, and 160 mm front and rear disc brakes give you controlled stopping.
How heavy is it?
About 23 kg (50.7 lbs), which is comparable to many electric bikes. Overall it measures 170 cm long, 102 cm high and 72 cm across the handlebars.
Battery & charging
Is the battery removable?
Yes. The 48V 13Ah lithium-ion battery is removable, so you can take it inside and charge it at home or at work while the bike stays parked.
How long does the battery last on a ride?
Approximately 4–6 hours of riding, depending on the assistance level, terrain, rider weight and conditions. Using a lower assist level on easy sections helps you ride for longer.

Is the Westmoor 25 road-legal in the UK?
Yes. The Westmoor 25 is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) under UK rules: a 250W motor with assistance that cuts out at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). You can ride it on roads and cycle paths just like a normal bicycle.
Do I need a licence, insurance or registration?
No. In Great Britain you can ride an EAPC from age 14 with no driving licence, registration, road tax or insurance.
